Which bit exactly - the bold print says something about death being worse than love, but then there's a load of german printed below this. It's 33 years since I translated German to English with any degree of certainty.

Sorry!

Good grief!! do you really want ALL THAT to be translated?

It is simply too long, but I'll compromise. I am going to do the headline and all the paragraphs on the left side. I am going to stop at the first line of the paragraph to the right of the photo. By the way, this is not a "dialect" ; this is indeed standard German.

{George Peppard
Death was stronger than love.}

{The Hollywood star died in the arms of his wife.}

{{ In Laura George Peppard found his great love. The young woman gave him strength and helped him in his most difficult time. A year full of love and tenderness was nevertheless granted to him. Twelve months in which George Peppard enjoyed every minute even if he could envision his imminent death/ had death in plain view.
As doctors discovered a tumor in his lungs, he collapsed.
After four tuebulent marriages he had finally found happiness in Laura, a bank employee 30 years his junior/ younger.
That she was really Ms Right she proved after the frightful diagnosis. "Together we shall conquer death" she promised her husband. He consented to be operated on, underwent chemotherapy and developed new hope.}}

If I had more time, I could translate rest of the article concerning the late George Peppard, erstwhile "A-Team" actor.
I hope that I may have helped somewhat.
