We should, but... they'll just come back. You'd pay a lot of money to delay a problem. This problem needs solutions; you can't just throw money at it and hope it goes away. The two options are: improve conditions in the countries they come from to take away any incentive for them to come here for a better life, or to provide a legal path for them to come here.

No we should not deport all illegal immigrants. This is because it would cost so much more to deport then then to keep them here and find a way to tax them. And the only reason they are here illegally is because they need to be they are coming from countries where there are no jobs or civil wars or bad living conditions. Our poorest poor in America live better then any poor anywhere in the world. So they basically have no choice but to come somewhere like America to support themselves and their families, they cant come over legally because of the massive amounts of red tape associated with it. back in the day when the massive amounts of Irish and Italian immigrants came over they could only do so legally because it was the only way to cross the Atlantic ocean but if either of those countries had a land based way over like the American Mexico border they would have just hoped over it because of the simplicity and ease of crossing a border. And to build a wall is just ridiculous we should promote trade with these South American countries so that their economies are improved and the people don't feel a need to come to America and that will help both them and us because of the trade that will be generated.

I like what Judge Judy said on Larry King,
that we should deport the [career criminals]
quickly, and let the reasonable people have some steps to legalization, or be deported if they have committed other crimes (other than entering the country illegally).

I can't remember her exact words, but I paraphrased it, and I agree. Leave it up to a New Yorker to know that you have to set priorities and put pressure where it's needed most, and not waste time on less urgent matters.

This will help with the hair loss.

The wall is being built. I think they've completed 3 or 4 whole miles of it, and are already into cost overruns.

We would have to import crocodiles from south america, Cuba, or Australia since they aren't a native species to the USA, and before we could do that we'd have to make sure they were legal with background checks and everything.
It might be easier to use the gators we already have in the south. We know they are not only legal, but original natives to this country.

Bio-dome wouldn't be a problem. Have everyone get a bottle of soap bubbles and blow up one big old bubble all at the same time....That'll work until the thing pops...

Beam me up Scotty...there is no intelligent life on this planet.

I say we should make the border into like the movie they Running man.

Make the entire border into an obstacle course. Fill it with camaras so we can watch it on TV. Send in some really buff guys in Cheesey outfits and showy weapons to do battle with the illegals. If they manage get through , they get to stay.

Edit: I just realize, the movie "Running Man" produced to govenor. Swartzenegger and Ventura

Edit>>> Hey the Croc idea was mine. Everyone wanted Alligators, but NOOO!!! I said that alligators aren't that aggressive. We want Crocodiles. THey are the maneaters. Of course some want Pirrahnas.

It will all even out since we are exporting so many jobs to the third world soon they won't want to come here anymore. In the future the "illegals" may be americans trying to get into Mexico or other countries to get a job with an american company.

Build the wall with an electrified moat and lots of land mines. And deport them all to Mars!

I think that would be too difficult and expensive a process to undergo, in terms of just hunting them down, never mind deporting them.

Unless one of them has specifically "taken a job" away from you personally, I don't see why you should be so hateful about them.

To some extent, yes they will do jobs that some Americans feel are beneath them. From what I understand, just our minimum wage is more than they earn back at home.

After wall comment...I see you got the email about how to solve the Wall, Katrina and gator/croc problem (in FL)...Build the wall with free, jailed illegals (labor)...dig a moat (Put all that dirt in New Orleans to raise it up) and take the crocs/alligators from Florida to put in the moat......no more illegals on the southern border...No more floods and no more gators/crocs in backyard swimming pools...

We need to deport them...It costs us one third more each year to have them Vs. the estimated 5 year deportation rush to get rid of almost all of them. We break even in just three years on savings!!!!!!!! After that We have money to allocate elsewhere that we need it.

No, and it's impossible to debate with someone that has a biased opinion. When dealing with issues that involve international countries, you have to know what's going on in the other countries as well. You can't just offer a solution based on what you see in your own nation. In other words, anyone wanting to have an opinion on illegal immigration should first read and inform himself/herself about everything the American government has done to provoke this issue. It's your government's fault.
