What? A God who rewards critical thought? Surely you jest.

You don't "believe in God," so how can you think there's an "evil biblical god?"

That's like not believing in the Lock Ness Monster, and then asking if it's a male or a female?

The Bible you've never read records different interpretations of God over the course of 2,000-3,000 years.

. . . sort of like asking people who knew you when you were 5 and asking people who know you now if you're the same person . . no, you've changed and grown over the years. Just as the God of the Bible changes and grows as people change and grow over the 3,000 years of stories recorded in the Bible.

Claiming to read the Bible and believing there's an "evil biblical God," is like watching I Love Lucy on tv in 1958 and believing Lucy is the only program on television today.

That is somewhat how it is.

God gives us a choice, this is why there are so many skeptics.

If God gave us proof that he was, there would be no point in living, we could all go to the afterlife and enjoy.

But he gave us freewill, and for that we must make a choice.

It seems you are trying to be convinced in your question. But your question seems to show that you know a bit about his plan (e.g. Evil God, being Satan, but he is not really a God, but an angel who wanted more power) He will tempt you in all ways possible to make you not follow God. Trust me it works, all the time, why do you think so many people do not believe? They doubt, distrust, misguide, etc.

Maybe you should just ask him. He will show you, but his voice is still and quiet. We forget to pay attention.

Just be ready for an answer.

Correct, the test God has given us is to see if we choose to follow the evil god of this world (Satan), or choose to follow the good God of all creation (Our Heavenly Father).

Someone who died for your salvation, I would hardly call an Evil God.

You know, people like you used to make me angry with this kind of stupidity but, now I just pray for you since I realized it is ignorance of the facts that is behind it. I'm to blessed to be stressed and to anointed to be disappointed. AMEN!

Hm...a God who says, "think and ye shall be rewarded" contradictory, but intriguing...and if there is such a deity such as God, then surly the real test is to go against the crowd (look what Jesus did), forge your own path through your life, and think for yourself and not go with the mindless masses, also, to do good things for people because it's the right thing to do and you want to do it, not because of divine punishment.

Just because you don't believe in God doesn't mean others don't. Or they have a different belief in something else. But your question isn't very "answer-worthy" in my opinion. Details, please. Give us more details.
