I don't have ITV4 DJ, or I would be watching too. I agree totally about the cars of that era too. These days they all look like clones of each other, but back then, the curves and contours added character. I love the old MK1 cortina and cars like the Ford Corsair which I likened to "spitfires" as a kid because of the shape of their "noses"....ahh yes, I remember.

Proggy's like the Persuaders and the Sweeney also come to mind. Alexandra Bastedo was a bit "naughty" methinks.

Yep we had a big old Zephyr with the bench seats and the gears on the steering column, and the tail fins what a car, there's nothing like it now.

Those were the days. I even remember 'Dick Barton special agent' on radio. And yes you could actually tell the makes of cars easily, not like today when they all seem to look the same.

Alexandra Bastido wasn't in Randall and Hopkirk deceased, she was in The Champions.

But I love watching Randall and Hopkirk, it is a bit ironic actually as the only reason I was born was because my mum and dad DIDN'T like it. lol.
