fornication is sex outside of marriage. if you are married, then you are not committing fornication. you should be allowed to marry anyone regardless of their beliefs.

There has to be more to it than that. It all depends on whether or not the marriage is valid in the eyes of the Church.

I suppose it all depends on what you, or your preacher, means by the phrase ""marry outside the Catholic Church".

A) The phrase could pertain to the Catholic lady's choice to marry a non-Catholic. In this situation, so long as the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony takes place inside a Catholic Church, there is nothing wrong with this. The Sacrament is valid and the spouses would not be committing fornication.

B) If the meaning of the phrase pertains to the lady's choice to marry the non-Catholic in his non-Catholic church, this could present a problem than may result in a marriage that is not valid. Be that the case, fornication becomes an issue.

Perhaps your priest was not being as clear as he should have been. Interfaith marriages can easily become theologiclly complicated. Perhaps you should seek clarification on the matter from your priest, if not for yourself than for others who may have become confused by your priest's teachings.

The reverend is using a scare tactic to keep people in the church. Flesh and flesh commit fornication. Not flesh and church. This isn't a very detailed answer, but use some common sence and do some personal bible study.

Either he said it wrong, was mis-interpreted (Like the Pope was recently), or he did not say it.

That is absolutely not true, unless the marriage is not Sacramental.

If they get married in Las Vegas by a justice of the Peace, then they are living in sin, (fornication) which would also be true if it were a Catholic woman and a Catholic man.

Peace be with you!

<> No. you ought to differentiate between theories of evolution. There are theories with the specific purpose of explaining away any fingerprints of a some distance better capability. those theories have continually been and continually would be rejected with the help of the Church. good theories of evolution follow explaining the innovative technique. those theories do no longer attempt to teach or disprove a some distance better capability for the reason that's no longer in the pastime of the belief. those theories, presuming the technology is sound, are no longer inevitably rejected with the help of the Church. <> No. <> No, it hasn't carried out that the two.

Most marriages take place inside a church, not outside it. If she is fornication for the rest of her life then at least she would die with a smile on her face.

I am not sure whether or not it is considered a sin.

But I do know, that they do not recognize marriages that are not within the Catholic Church. Female or Male... it doesn't just apply to one sex...

You can marry a person who is not of Catholic Faith, as long as you marry them in the Catholic church, the marriage is considered valid.

But if you marry them by civil law, and not in the church, than the marriage is basically non-existant... as far as the church is concerned....
