where does it say that we are daughters of eve and sons of Adam in the bible? I am just wondering because I wonder if people are lost in there own way and created the fact that we all come from adam and Eve. In my eyes the Jews were created from them, the rest from other couples. But if it says it in the bible that man came from Adam, and daughters came from Eve then I am wrong.

by the way the movie is about the Lion the witch and the wordrobe.

It is the Chronicles of Narnia.

In your eyes Jews were created from Adam and and Eve, but the rest from others. I never thought of that. Good thought.
But in this question- Your eyes didn't write the books, so that's probably why it doesn't make as much sense. I have never heard of people called the Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve. I could be a Daughter of Adam for all I know.
It's a fictional book that I assume just came up with term for the sake of the story line. I think it would be odd and sort of funny if they called them something like. "Human Daughters and Sons of Adam and Eve if you are Jewish and if not some other random couple not named in History Books"

Technically, according to the Bible, we all are sons and daughters of BOTH Adam and Eve. So, saying you are a son of Adam is right (although you are also a son of Eve), the same with saying you are a daughter of Eve (although you are also, at the same time, a daughter of Adam - obviously). When "son and daughter" means "descendant of", which is a biblical way of speaking (like talking about Jesus as "son of David", that means, descendant of David = descendant of the king)

You are insane. Clearly. The bible is made up. Fiction. Just like the movie you saw. It says Adam and Eve were the only two people created by your god. So every one came from them according to the bible. But you would be wrong no matter what because it is made up.

I believe that the Chronicles of Narnia referred to the children as daughters of Eve and sons of Adam making reference to the fact that they were "Human". Because in that story there were all types of beings, not just human.

the original movie was better--what does Narnia have to do with Adam and Eve?--the bible says nothing on it, it just is assumed, but the books that the bible was taken from say that Adam fathered everybody between eve and his first wife lilith

I thought that was the Chronicles of Nanya or Narnya. No, it's pretty clear, but we're always learning, I hope. It's a chronicle of God's interaction with man in a more direct way as a guide. More specific than some religions and covering a longer time span than others.

Just letting you know, the author made many allusions to Christinaity, just like his friend J.R.R. Tolkien made many references to Catholism and various Celtic beliefs. Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve is just something to get peoples attention (unless I'm mistaken and if I am I'm sorry.)

Chronicals of Narnia. It has more pagan reference than christian really. The author of the book changed religions through his life so I think that had alot to do with the odd christian references that people seem to think is what the whole thing is about.
