I am having a party on Tuesday the 7th, and I sent out the invites 2 weeks ago. I invited 10 girls, and all of them have gotten back to me except one. I am not sure if she is out of town, decided not to RSVP (something she would do to be mean...), or did not get the letter. Should I e-mail her and explain or should I just let it be? I kind of need to know if she can come or not since I have to buy things for a certain number, etc. Please help!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Frankly, I am tired of people not responding to my invitations properly, even to my childrens' parties. I would say have your party without her. Maybe she intimidates you because she gets away with this type of bad behavior, so don't let her. If she shows up, have one of those caught-off-guard faces on and say, "Wow, you never rsvp'd, I didn't think you were coming." Then give her a glass of water.

Give her a call or send an email and ask that you wanted to make sure that she had received the invitation. Or, you could go ahead and purchase and plan to have extra/left overs in the event she might show up and you are not able to get a hold of her.

just simply call her and explain. Say, " I have to go out and buy things for my party and I need to know if you can come or not." She'll give u a straight answer if you talk to her.

Make a telephone call saying that you think she may not have received her invitation and that you don't want her to feel that she has been left out.

You can then ascertain whether she will be attending or not.

Call or e mail her... She might have thought RSVP meant only if you are not coming...

i would give her a call. don't e-mail as she may not respond to that either. if you can't get hold of her by the time you need to shop. assume she isn't coming.

call her. tell her she was the only one who didn;t RSVP and you were just double checking ... be casual and don't sound stressed or pushy
