It's sufficient as long as it doesn't leave you feeling hungry.

Just have your protein later in the day.

It's much better than white bread or donuts. As for granola/breakfast bars, read the ingredients. Some of the self-proclaimed "healthy" ones I think are anything but. They have high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, etc. Not something I would consider healthy. Trader Joe's has good granola bars that are not only cheap ($2 for a box of six) but all natural. Because I'm pregnant, I like to make sure I have food with me when I'm out for awhile so I don't have to wait to eat. These work great. Trader Joe's has fruit and grain bars, too, but they're a little small, but still very yummy.

For protein, try a glass of soy milk or some natural (corn syrup and HFCS free) PB.

What's up with the olive oil? No, it's not a healthy breakfast. You do need protein so even if you don't have time to make a shake, try yogurt and string cheese, or even a bowl of high fiber cereal and skim milk.

you could do some peanut butter on your whole wheat toast for a quick bite of protein when you're short on time instead of the olive oil

This breakfast is definetly better than no breakfast. Maybe you could try some granola, breakfast bars, or even some fruit for those days where you just don't have the time so you can still have a healthy bite!

This breakfast sounds fine to me. Though you could even add some more food if you wanted.

You forgot milk. Can't start a day without an 8oz glass of milk.
