what, you mean like pick one up and take it to a party? yeah, why not.

This isn't a sort of question I could answer with a one word answer. It would depend on a lot of things. Would Jesus *want* you to take a bullet for him?

Surely if his "aim" is to save as many souls as possible then you just deciding to "take a bullet" for him means that you are one less person to set a good example of how to live a good life and one less person to make the world what god wants it to be. Which surely would be contrary to the whole christian philosophy.

Also there is the dilemma of if you have the choice of not dying, then surely to choose to die is almost akin to suicide, which is frowned upon. I think it's a question which deserves a little more thought than a mere "yes" or "no".

I don't much care if you choose me as best answer, because this is a lousy question. Let me ask you a few things: does it have to be a bullet? Would crucifixion be OK? Also, is this the kind of thing you believe Jesus would want people to do for him? As a Christian, if you believe that, I think you've got problems.

I think your question needs revision.

I would not take a bullet for Jesus, as a bullet would be of no affect to him.

I would take a bullet for another human being though:

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

.

No, and since I do not care about best answer I will say If Jesus God then why would he need me to take a bullet for him?

Best answer or not, this is sort of a goofy question! :o)

I guess I could get really annoying and say:

If I lived in His time then there wouldn't have been guns anyway.
If it was now, well...He's perfect and resurrected and won't die again so there'd be no point in taking a bullet for Him, right?
:o)

No, thats a terrible trade. I'd take a refurbished 1957 Chevy, or a Mickey Mantle Rookie card instead though.
