Romans3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

I don't know where Gandi comes in to that but Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven,

John 14 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

For one you have to believe in God and His Son Jesus. Saying you are a good person is irrelevant to God. Besides what classifies you as a "good" person may be the very thing that classifies you as a "bad" person. You can surly ask God to forgive you, you can ask Him to save you even, but, being a good person doesn't get you a free pass into heaven. Our actions should reflect the works of the Holy Spirit but I can't stress enough that just being a good person alone won't guarantee salvation.

You should be a good person full stop. God is not going to hold you choice of words against you when you pray. It shouldnt make a difference.
He knows your spirit remember?

Salvation is a free gift from God so no man can boast that he earned it. We've all sinned and come short of the glory of God.

This is what God say about "good" persons:

" The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.
God looks down from heaven
on the sons of men
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.

Everyone has turned away,
they have together become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one. "

Psalm 53:1-3

NO, good people cannot automatically go to heaven, there is nothing that we can do to get there, it is all about what Jesus has done for us on the cross and to accept Him not only as Savior,but also as Lord, that is the only way to heaven.

No, for ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's standard.
For by grace we are saved through faith, not of works lest anyman should boast.

Kay. Romans 3:10 says that Gandhi is in hell. Any religion that puts a great humanitarian in eternal torment is one I'm opting out of.
