How about I say that I believe God's word:
Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
I could never put it better than that... Jim

That is not self-righteousness. There are several steps here you are making in this arguement that are flawed. First is the assumption that doing good deeds is self-righteousness. If salvation is only through accepting Jesus as the son of God, then why did Jesus give us commandments (see the Sermon on the Mount). Sure seems like Jesus like to hear himself talk, because there certainly wasn't any reason for it. Besides, I've seen many of the "born-again" crowd I would call more self-righteous than many people who do good deeds.
That would not be saying you have salvation in yourself. Salvation would depend upon doing what God told you to do. This would be dependent on God.
That does not make you your own God. You don't explain this step, and I fail to see how you arrive at it.

We have NEVER been able to be righteous without the blood of Jesus, which imputes righteousness upon our sinful selves. Jesus already paid the price for us to take this FREE gift, with the only condition to repent and surrender our sins at the foot of the cross. Is that too hard for anyone to do, compared how God sent His only begotten son to die for us, redeem us of all sins? No. God planned it as a win-win situation. The only loss was sustained by the devil.
Great question, again! God Bless you and your ministry!

He shouldn't I don't want to go to heaven. I want to live forever on the earth. When Jesus says the Meek will inherit the earth. I don't want to be a spirit person without a body.

Why would anyone really want to go to Heaven as it is portrayed by man through the reading and interpretation of the Bible???
Forever is a VEEERRRYYY LOOONG TIME! It sounds like a very boring place and a man made illusion.
I don't think I am God, where did you learn that hogwash?

Because I accepted what Jesus did for me on the cross and I live my life now for Him,trusting in Him and being made righteous through Him, that is why I should be let into heaven.

God should not let me into Heaven. However, Heaven will be my permanent home someday because of His grace and mercy. I have been adopted into His family based on what His Son, not I, did.

Only God will judge me on the day I die. I don't claim to know His will. While on this Earth, I do my very best. If that's good enough, then He will reward me. If it wasn't good enough, then all I can say is that I tried.

For it is by GRACE we are saved through faith, not of works lest any man should boast.
It is because of the sacrifice for sins, paid once and for all, by Jesus Christ.
