Different but equal. I am aware that men and women have different strengths and weaknesses. I am stronger in some things and he is in others. It's a balance
My religion is all about the balance. It's what makes everything work. But my faith also reveres women as givers of life. The Great Mother, the Mother of the Gods, Queen of Heaven, etc.
I personally think it says great things about my religion. Too bad it gets smeared by uneducated people all the time.

1. Equal. Never below, or above for that matter. People see the term "feminist" and think I want to dominate men. Hardly.
2. I think Christianity has created itself into a religion of misogyny, but it isn’t inherently that way, and it’s possible to overcome it.
3. It says that it's possible to move beyond legalism and tradition in religion, even those that typically repress women.

Equal... I'm Pagan and most Pagan paths view genders as equal. Shows my religion at least doesn't try to make one gender appear better than another based on physical body parts.
Though there are some Pagan paths which do place importance on gender... Dianic Wicca is one of those. Many of those Circles (which basically means Church), not all, but many will only allow women to be a member. One such group that I know of has went so far as to only allow lesbians into their group. Some take it so far as to place men in the inferior position, as if this is correcting anything.

I'm Catholic with strong Quakerly tendencies.
I insist on treating women as equals. My religion is fine with that. It says that my religion doesn't buy into that ridiculous stuff about the man being the head of the household and all women as being inferior to men.

2 - We're all equal in the eyes of God - roles are equally important to one another
3 - A lot - though unfortunately you always have a few that twist things to their benefit.

Women who are religious prefer a subservient position to men, because they are taught that this is what their god wants.
