God does Not fail, its man who does.
The nation of Israel was enslaved by Egypt, set to hard manual labor and subjected to brutal treatment. They cried out to God for help, and he, in his great mercy, heard them and acted. Using Moses and Aaron as his spokesmen, Jehovah issued a demand that the Egyptian Pharaoh let the Israelites go free. That proud monarch refused repeatedly, even after Jehovah brought a series of devastating plagues upon the land. Finally, God brought Pharaoh to his knees. The Israelites were free at last!—Exodus 12:29-32.
The Bible explains that we are living in “the last days,” a time when selfishness and greed would be rampant. (2 Timothy 3:1, 2) This means that soon God’s Kingdom, for which Jesus taught us to pray, will establish a righteous society in which slavery will be outlawed. (Matthew 6:9, 10) Jesus Christ, God’s appointed King, will take action to crush every vestige of slavery until the last enemy, death, is brought to nothing.—1 Corinthians 15:25, 26.
When that day finally dawns, faithful mankind will see that the freeing of God’s people from slavery in Egypt was just a small foregleam of this far greater liberation.

Sin entered the garden- and by sin- death. God kept trying to find a way to reconcile us back to Him- He loves us so much, that is what he longs for. Yet each time we in our sinful natured failed. Finally God sent Jesus- That's the end- when Jesus said "It is finished" that is what he meant. The only thing we have to do is accept- we will still sin- in our flesh but Jesus paid the price- Through Him we are part of God's family- not like some of the families we have here on earth- but a perfect loving caring forgiving family- For me what's next is to try and live each day in thankfulness for his salvation and love- and recognition of how far He has brought me-

You are very close! The history is of US failing to keep the many Covenants with God. Which is why God sent his Son to be the final Covenant between us and God. Jesus gave us the Sacraments to keep us in the Grace of God even though God knows we are going to fail from time to time. Good Observation, honestly. Peace!

Yes, God is prone to pretty violent temper tantrums as you have noted, always as the result of his own incompetence (or "mysterious ways" as his die-hard fans like to call it).
I think the worst though is his rough handly of Job. God is out having drinks with the devil, accepts a wager and lets the devil have his way with Job and when Job complains, God slides down and say, "I'm Rick James, b tch!"

God does not fail. Humanity Fails. He gives us his love, and chance after chance....and the people keep destroying and murdering......
I completly agree with the other believers who posted to this responce, and it pains me to see such hatred.
I know where I will be when I die......Do you?
