yes! words hurt more than the physical pain. so it goes the same way when you say sweet words, it soothes the soul. even if you don't hear it anymore, at the back of your mind, it is repeated, giving you a very soothing feeling all throughout.
this verse also reminds us to be extra careful on what we say. because words have a very strong impact on us. it may change or destroy someone.

Sure. Too bad instead of thinking before speaking, people dump words out of their
mouths that are made of dirt or worse.
Its a good bit of common sense, as are
all the proverbs. Unfortunately, wisdom and common sense are also apples of gold in pictures of silver - because they are so
