The word love means many things.
Jesus said this:
"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command."
John 15:9-14

Yes! God is love! We wouldn't know what love is without him.
Mark 10:21
[speaking to the rich young man] Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
John 11:5
[read about Lazarus dying and being raised from the dead] Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus...32When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." 33When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34"Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied. 35 Jesus wept. 36Then the Jews said, "See how he loved him!"
John 13:1
[ Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet ] It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.

It is very obvious that most of the people answering your question never loved.
They respond like a bunch of jackals falling upon a scrap of meat left by the lions.
No man ever loved like Jesus Christ.

It's sad how many respond with a perverse notion of what the word love means. How shallow and empty their lives must be when the most noble expression and experience of the human heart is reduced to a biological impulse.

Not a Christian, but I dig JC.
As I see it, for his followers he is the perfect embodiment of perfect God and perfect Man. Not merely God made flesh, but Man too. One who encompasses all of the passion and suffering that humans go through. How else could he understand the experience in order to become the savior if he did not go through it?
Did he love? I believe yes, he had to. Had to know fear, love, anger, joy - and all shades in between.

I'm sure he loved a lot of people. As man of great faith, I think it's reasonable to imagine him living a celibate life. Unfortunately, we may never know the truth after thousands of years of truth-altering by so-called religious people.

Do you mean romantically? Because I'm sure he loved his family and his disples like friends. The Bible says no, but personally, I do think he did.

Jesus loved Mary, a wealthy, single woman of Magdala. There is a good chance they she and Jesus hooke dup. maybe even married, which would explain why he appeared to her first after the ressurection. She was the "beloved Apostle".
