I think that the weight you have lost is water weight.Maybe you are more dehydrated last week than this week. It's quite normal for your weight to flutuate.

OR,you are gaining muscle mass.Which is a good sign!!!Muscle burns 9 calories/min whereas fats burns only 2 calories/min.This means now your metabolism rate has gone higher and you are burning even more calories .
By the way keep up the good job.

This is why you should never wiegh yourself every day. Our bodies fluctuate throughout the week, and something as simple as bieng a bit bloated, having to go to the bathroom or even being close to menastrating can make us gain 1-3 lbs easily. You didn't cheat, and you coudln't have possibly gained that weight back. You wuld have had to had an extra 5250 (1 lb =3500 calories) to have gained that in one day, and you didn't. Pick 1 day and time during the week to weight yourself and stick to that. Otherwise, you become scale obsessed an incredibly frustrated when your weight constantly shifts.

Trust me, I went through this and I had to finally hide the scale because it was dictating how happy or upset I was each and every day. It's not a fun pattern to get into.

This is why you should not weigh yourself every day. You will drive yourself insane thinking about day-to-day activities.

I think what you are doing is fine and will lead to great success if you keep going. My theory is that from the weight training, you are gaining significant muscle and we all know that weighs more.

I think what is happening is that the cardio is cutting out the fat and the muscle gain is balancing it out. This is a beneficial process b/c eventually the muscle will help you burn more calories/improve metabolism and the fat will go away so your weight will go down regardless.

Your weight can fluctuate as much as 5lbs throughout a single day, based on eating, drinking, bathroom habits, etc. Don't stress about it. Keep up your diet and exercise plan, but try not to weigh yourself so much. Especially because you're also doing weight training, you actually may be GAINING weight in the form of muscle even though you're losing fat. Muscle weighs more than fat!

You body has to get accustomed to loosing weight, so it will seem as if you weight is going to fluctuate. Also, many times people have to gain a few pounds before the actual weight begins dropping.

Its a process that the body does to initiate change. My doctor agrees.
