I mean... aren't most folks who go there... erm..... dead?
Living people aren't supposed to be there, are they?

And if they're not dead (i.e. eternal life and all that).... then how was Jesus coming back supposed to be representative of his divinity? I mean it is hardly a sign of the divine if everyone can do it!

Yes... according to the bible it caused a major glitch in the system, causing many to rise from the graves and walk around.

First, no one but Jesus has ever returned from the dead under his own power. While people go to heaven when they die, they do not then return to the earth, get their bodies out of the grave, walk around in that body for over a month, and then take it with them back to heaven. Jesus is the only person to have done that. I would say that is pretty good prove that he was divine.

If not, then you are welcome to demonstrate your ability to do the same.

Actually, this is a very good question.

If we are Children of God and God is our Father, that means eternal life is already there.

Chapter 18 covers this very nicely in the free book. It's a fun read.

Our spirit continues to live after it leaves the body. Where it goes is up to us. Jesus' spirit sits at the right hand of GOD.
