Ladies Choice - Where to put a tattoo?

Question

I am 6'2" 200lbs. pretty muscular, fair skinned.. I've been contemplating getting a tattoo, and I am all for it, however I am having trouble deciding on location...Where do you think the most flattering part of my bod should I put it... I was thinking tricep, upper back-shoulder blade area. maybe on the leg... or maybe on rib cage (side)... what are you opinions??

the side of your leg, something long so it balances. that would be super sexy, shoulder blade would be hot too, or your forearm (can ya tell i dig guys with tats?!)

i ALWAYS chose a location to get a tattoo before deciding what to get, but do you know what you want to get? not every tattoo will work in every body location so that is very important.
please please please don't get tribal for the love of all that is tattoo'ed puuhhhllllleeeeeze. having said that, lots of things need to be factored in when deciding on tattoos as a whole.
if you were going to get something that is wider than tall then i would definitely go for the back. if you are leaning toward something longer than wide then ribcages are wonderful, as are calves but i am very particular about symmetry so i would have to balance it out with something on the other side too. it's hard to say, but i have seen tattoos in pretty much every location and the most important thing is the artist that does the tattoo. a great tattoo is only great if the artist who did it is extremely talented, then placement doesn't really matter as much.

I think asking online is the wrong way to decide. If you want one you are the one who should decide were to put it. If you have any sort of "professional" job you should put it in a place that won't be seen at work.
I saw one once that was on a guy's very private part. It was a long stem rose. It was awesome. But I never understood how he was able to take the pain.

i'd say go to the artist who is going to be doing it, and bring in a design and ask where they think would be a good place. We can throw ideas at you all day, but you gotta decide this for yourself =]

Oh and side of the rib cage does look sexy :)

I think it should be where you most feel comfortable. Asking a bunch of women on the internet is going to get you a bunch of different opinions and YOU need to be confident about your tattoo. Not people on the internet.

if you have nice legs then the calf looks awesome but if you arms are the stronger point then there, and if you can have it like arm to shoulder i like it!
rib cage is cool too but i heard it hurts like crazy!!

i just got my first one monday and i have it lower back left side at my hip and <3 it!

if you've got nice arms they look great on the back is nice too but depends on the tattoo i've got one but it's only for me so it's in a private place or get something individual like get your own designed and put it where you like as it's an original it won't be like everybody elses

Put it at the bottom of your neck between your shoulder blades. But it depends on the tatoo.

depends on what it is. all the locations that you spoke of are nice locations. that girl that said that girls dont like tattoos is full of it.. i personally think that tattoos are hott!!! again, depends on your style.
as far as you go.. get it wherever you feel that you want it. no one can really tell you where to get it. what if you want it to show and we say put it on your forehead.. your not going to right!? no!! so just make ur own decisions, its ur body, and you probbly wont ever see any of us who gave you our opinions. =)

I would have to say Upper to mid back.
I don't like leg tattoos at all.
