Is there something wrong with me??

Question

because i have alot of guy friends and they all tell me im a great person and really pretty etc etc and that im really funny and sweet but i havent had a proper boyf for 2 years just seein guys and stuff! i dont believe that what all these guys are sayin is true cos the only guys that show interest are taken (not going there) or just want sex.i dont just want that anymore,i need more! i mean i do get looked at when im out and just out in general but hardly any1 approaches me,a few people have told my friends before that i seem really unapproachable,dont get this! i dont have much confidence but i think its because i feel for some reason im not girlf material! im 24 with a 5 year old daughter and feel will be alone forever! i know i wont cos i have my daughter but still,ive just asked this once had some great answers but want more,and just to clarify when i go out its with the girls not my guy mates!! any ideas,and be nice please! thanks

If the guys are all around your age group, it may be because they dont feel ready to get involved with a girl whose also a Mother....its a lot of responsibility. Maybe you should try to do some activities where you'll meet guys who are closer to thirty.

Not to discourage you I believe having alot of guy friends make someone look bad. for a guy to say your just nice, I believe he mighta been a nice guy, but maybe get discouraged because you have guy friends. Because I did in past experience. I am a person who is so friendly, but sometimes I give an unapproachable look also, because I get shy at that point when I meet/see a girl, so instead of being friendly and smile, I get nervous and don't smile, and dont talk much, so I feel like I give off a bad impression and I do. But when/If I get past that initial first impression I end up being really likeable.

The fact that you hang out with a lot of guys could keep other guys away. They'll assume your with someone else instead of trying to approach you. Also I know lots of guys your age are too intimidated to approach a beautiful woman.

here are some suggestions: try approaching some guys that you find attractive and single - doesn't have to end up being your next boyfriend but try it and see if you can have some fun. No matter what - I think it's important that you have a good time. Don't dwell on the negative. Focus on the positive. Get a babysitter, go out to a club, flirt with lots of guys to see who'll buy you your next drink and have lots of fun. Guys will be attracted to your positive energy and you'll be dating up a storm.

A lot of girls feel like it is always a guys duty to initiate contact or pursue a girl. If you want a boyfriend, you need to be willing to put yourself out there, meet some people, and perhaps not play it so coy. Most of the time, guys are just as insecure as women, just a lot better at hiding it. Approach a guy you like, talk to him, and if you don't like him, just cut your losses and take off. If you do, ask him out on a proper date and take it from there (guys love having girls ask them out).

nothing is wrong with you. just enjoy life as much as possible. i know is hard for a single mom sometimes to deal with life but relax and keep walking.
