Hang out along the Hudson River Park, Rockerfeller Park. The Water Taxi Beach in LIC or the East River Beach in Dumbo by the state park.

Go to the beach. Coney Island, Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach. The reason - the ocean water temperature is 70 degrees. The winds recently have been blowing from the south. So when the winds blow off the ocean surface you feel the 70 degrees coolness.

rockaway beach! except that beach it pretty gross. i prefer jones beach or robert moses if youre willing to drive that far. or the pool!
