We're in a fallen world, even though God's beauty still is evident.

Good question.
What about poisonous snakes, wouldn’t the non-poisonous snakes suffice?
What about viruses? I realize that Noah’s Institute for advanced biological discovery had probably cottoned to the fact that a virus is really not a living organism and therefore warranted no special place on the Ark. On the other hand Noah had to know that there would be viruses on board.
Why did Noah include poisonous tree frogs? Oh! I’ve got it, Noah was worried that certain South American tribes might have to begin using Wal Mart instead of hunting with poison tipped arrows.
Really an amazing foresight when you consider that biblical people didn’t even know that South America existed.
What about bad bacteria; I mean we can use the good bacteria but the bad…?
I have made a superficial search of the two conflicting flood stories in the bible and I can’t find an answer for the above questions.
Go figure!

First of all, mosquitos would not have needed to be saved by the Ark; they would be fine as they can sit on the water, eat from the water, etc.
The purpose for every living creature in the food chain is obvious: to control the population of lesser creatures and to provide food.
I am not an advocate of the mosquitos, but
they certainly provide their own purpose in
the nature of things. I know they are food
for lots and lots of other animals, including
fish and many birds, frogs, turtles, etc.

I'm thinking it's quite possible the mosquitoes didn't need the ark. Kind of like the fish.

They were there to show the man that suffering and death can not leave him even in the ark. And change is inevitible, that is the Law of the Lord. And mosquitos were there as he willed them to be there.

Um, mosquitos can fly. So my guess it they flew above the water when the flood came. Probably rested on the tippy-top of the ark.

Mosquitos are a vital part of the food chain for many birds. They are also vital to the life cycle of malaria parasites.

I think it was three, I think. I have proof, there's one over here, USA. Maybe they revolved from unclean conditions. Have they any fossils very old or are they dating from the earth they were found in. They could be a recent breed from ...mm... breeding.
