There was a conspiracy against Serbia ever since it got free from the Ottomans because the west (and when I say west,I mean the Vatican and the Pope) always knew that Serbs would be allied to Russia as they have a blood bond and not to mention they are Orthodox brothers.Therefore any action Serbia did was judged as bad by the west.WW1 would happen anyway,the murder of archduke Ferdinand was just an excuse.And in modern wars that occurred in 90's in Yugoslavia,Serbs never committed any atrocities over others,on the contrary Croats and Muslims were the ones to commit genocide over Serbs.Croats because they had Nazi ideology ever since ww2 and Muslims because they are extremists.I would also like to say that Serbs always fought to protect the Europe from Muslim invaders(ever since the Kosovo battle in 1389.),while being critisized by west and treated as terrorists.The truth is that Vatican sees greater threat in Orthodox church than in Islam.Too bad.

conranger1 how stupid can you be, the real reason for ww1 was that france and england had colonies, and austrian empire and germany didn't, only a small spark was needed to start this, and gavrilo princip killed franz ferdinand to liberate bosnia from austrian authority

Those people are said and pathetic that blame serbs for everything, they want to pretend that they're smart, but are very stupid, in short story, they don't know what they are talking about, they only know that they hate a nation and it's people, and will do anything to spit on them

FACT; WW1 Bosnian Serb kills Crown Prince of Franz Josef of Austro-Hungaria on the Orders of Serbian Military Officers of "The Black Hand". Gang.
This starts WW1.

FACT; Upgraded to killing unarmed Muslims in the 1980 Yugoslavian War,

The Yugoslav Wars were a series of violent conflicts in the territory of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) that took place between 1991 and 2001. They comprised two sets of successive wars affecting all of the six former Yugoslav republics. Alternative terms in use include the "War in the Balkans", or "War in (the former) Yugoslavia", "Wars of Yugoslav Secession", and the "Third Balkan War" (a short-lived term coined by British journalist Misha Glenny, alluding to the Balkan Wars of 1912–1913).

They were characterised by bitter ethnic conflicts between the peoples of the former Yugoslavia, mostly between Serbs on the one side and Croats, Bosniaks or Albanians on the other; but also between Bosniaks and Croats in Bosnia and Macedonians and Albanians in the Republic of Macedonia. The conflict had its roots in various underlying political, economic and cultural problems, as well as long-standing ethnic and religious tensions.

The civil wars ended with much of the former Yugoslavia reduced to poverty, massive economic disruption and persistent instability across the territories where the worst fighting occurred. The wars were the bloodiest conflicts on European soil since the end of World War II. They were also the first conflicts since World War II to have been formally judged genocidal in character and many key individual participants were subsequently charged with war crimes. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was established by the United Nations to prosecute these crimes.

The Yugoslav civil wars can be split in two groups of several distinct conflicts:

* Wars during the breakup of SFRY:
1. War in Slovenia (1991)
2. Croatian War of Independence (1991-1995)
3. Bosnian War (1992-1995)
* Wars in Albanian-populated areas:
1. Kosovo War (1997-1999)
2. Southern Serbia conflict (2000-2001)
3. Macedonia conflict (2001)
