Whenever I ask about a possible flaw in Evolution I get a good answer, when I ask about I.D I get resounding silence.

Is there a reason?

Because evolution makes sense, is supported by loads of evidence, and is plausible. The inverse is true of ID.

The concept of evolution was theorized by Charles Darwin under a false understanding.

The premise Darwin made was that the cell was the smallest indivisible part of the body, and the liquid contents of the cell, while still within the mother's womb, can be modified when external pressures occurred.

His theory is wrong, because it was based on false science. He never heard of DNA. The current studies in DNA demonstrate that a complex combination of atoms that actually form a living "computer" program can not occur without some kind of intelligence behind it, any more than a fully programmed computer can occur because of an accidental explosion in a factory of raw materials. Try thinking for yourself, and don't just merely believe everything you read!

Besides, if evolution were true, how come moms don't have three arms?

The scary thing, the really, really scary thing, about this is the number of thumbs downs the sensible answers have received. Evolution is a scientific theory which has huge quantities of verifiable data to support it.
ID has only the words of the bible.
And yet people simply will not listen.

Because evolutionary theory is a scientific doctrine. Science makes no claims to infallibility. There ARE flaws in the theory of evolution. That's why scientists are still studying it. By admitting that the flaws exists, scientists are able to study those flaws and learn more about them.

Intelligent Design, on the other hand, is a religious doctrine, and religious doctrines are prone to claim infallibility. By not admitting that flaws exist, ID adherents are typically unprepared to answer for flaws when they are pointed out.

One of the reasons that ID is not a scientific theory is that it is untestable.
Evolution has been critically analyzed and tested for 150 years. It now has mountains of confirming evidence behind it and nothing to contradict it has ever been found.

Martin S - Wrong. the first primitive cell itself was the product of many millions of years of evolution, arising from protobionts which themselves arose from acellular living processes in the open ocean.
Yes, any modern cell is incredibly complex. And any modern cell you can analyze is the product of several billion years of evolution.

ID has some good ideas in it that question the
science of Evolution - rightly so.
As a Christian, I like ID in that it does this, but, really,
ID is not the total answer for science and teaching it
in school either. I don't think that Macro Evolution
should be taught as fact in science
because it is a very illogical assumption.
I don't think science can ever prove origin one
way or the other - there is philosophy, speculation,
as well as religion/non-religion agendas
behind both ID and Evolution.
NEITHER ONE deserves full credit as science.
It is so stupid!

because Intelligent design is a flaw to begin with. You cannot justify or provide solid evidence for something that is fundamentally flawed from the beginning. I mean, it's based on the bible for noodle's sake..... a book that is also flawed.... the basis of it all is completely flawed which is why you'll either get silence or a ridiculous answer when you ask about I.D.

Because evolution is based on science and has scientific explanations. I.D. is based on a pretty good hunch and there by only has hunch explanations.

probably because there is mountains of evidence for evolution and people dedicate their lives to researching it.

ID is basically GODDIDIT! no research required
