I already had a banana, cornflakes, and soy milk for breakfast, so would a peanubutter sandwhich on whole wheat whole grain toast with um some grapes be a good lunch and keep me full until 5pm?

Yes, it should. The protein in the peanut butter and the whole grains should keep you going. I have a question about the peanut butter. Is it a natural style or one of the standard ones. I ask because many of the common peanut butters are loaded with sugar and the sugar will make you crave more food. If you opt for the natural style there will be a lot less sugar in it and will keep you going longer.

For your breakfast you might want to try having oatmeal instead of corn flakes. Oatmeal will hold you over longer than corn flakes will.

You may also want to add a container of non-fat yogurt as a snack. They only have around 80-100 calories so it won't break your diet but it will satisify any craving for snacks.

It will keep you full until 5 p.m but, you might want to try a chicken salad on whole wheat bread. That will probably be more filling. And if I were you I would also eat sunchips or something instead of just grapes.

That could work but here is what I see wrong with that lunch:
a - grapes have natural sugar and natural sugar is another word for carbs. it may not seem like it but it all adds up. 6 grapes can have about 50 calories.

b - peanut butter is good for you but very high in fat, even though it is good fat, if you are losing weight then dont eat it. If you are not, then its fine as long as you avoid other fatty foods for the remainder of the day.

I would suggest you look into "Greener" foods. For example: pasta salad, havana shrimp salad, veggie burgers, falafels with lentil soup, etc.

I like to add a few spicy potato chips inside the peanutbutter sandwich, for extra crunch you know. Try it you'll like it.
