I realize there are many atheists on this board, obviously I know you don't go to church. Feel free to answer if you must though.

Ok, so obviously, I must be politically correct to everyone. So, I realize there are people who don't go to church at all, just because they don't go to church, not because they are atheist. Please, feel free to answer.

Very easy and relaxing.

I have a sit on the couch or table chair. I begin to pray and eventually go to scripture.

Sometimes it is just me and the wife, sometimes a few friends. At times, someone plucks a guitar and we enter into worship.

Other times we encourage the hurting, discuss life and circumstance, and chow down on food.

We try to let God lead the way each and every time. Seldom is their formal structure.

Well, I wake up early and get ready and get my kids ready. Then I arrive at church and take my baby to the nursery and take my older child to his classroom. Then I go to worship service at 9:30 and experience wonderful worship. Sometimes, tears come to my eyes as I stand with my fellow brothers and sisters and sing to the Lord. Then it ends at about 10:45 and then I go to my Sunday school class that begins a little after 11:00. Right now we are studying Spiritual warfare. I experience some great fellowship in my class and that ends about 12:15 and then I go home and lay my kids down for a nap and collapse!

Well we start with Sunday School. I am in the ladies class. After that we go into the chior and sing. Then sometimes we have special singing. Then the preach starts preaching the word of God. And on many occasions none of this takes places. What I mean by the sometimes people testify about God's greatness and souls are saved. The Holy Spirit takes over and we never know what will happen that day. I have seen 6 souls saved in one service and people shouting and crying tears of joy.

We arrive around 9:30 because I work in the Library and need to get there a little early, service begins at 10:00, we sing a hymn, we say a prayer, we listen to our leadership talk about ward business and stake business, we sing again, take the sacrament, hear the talks, sing again, pray again, then I go back to the library to make copies, find pictures for lessons, help people check out books or videos, give out scriptures, make more copies, then I go to bible study and we are studying the New Testament, then I go back to the library and make more copies (you get the picture of the library, I hope), then I go the the Relief Society and the men go to the Priesthood. In Relief Society we say a prayer, sing, listen to the lesson, sing and say another prayer. Then I go to the library again and then we go home. We are usually there from 9:30 to about 1:20, unless we needed to get there early for a meeting or stay late for our "linger longer" get together luncheon.

1John 1:9 before starting:
Start with Song service, hear biblical scripture explained by the time and language it was written. Take notes while going along with Pastor in the bible, learning how to apply this to daily living in todays times... pray etc. Maybe have a bagel and some coffee but mostly the service ends around lunchtime so I usually just go out to lunch or go home after.

I'm an Episcopalian in Indiana and I go to the service at 8 am, have coffee and doughnuts at 9 and then I go home. If I go to the 10 am service, they have a choir too. The Holy Communion takes longer and this service lasts about 2 hours.

We have a little over an hour for Sacrament meeting, then a little less than an hour for Gospel Doctrine class in Sunday School. Finally I get to share time with the sisters in Relief Society.

I'm atheist but I have been in churches. I like the architecture and I'm interested in history. Some of them are beautiful buildings, especially the really old ones with the stained glass windows.

Whenever I set foot in a church I asphyxiate and eventually pass out from lack of oxygen...... and holy water burns me.

Does that count?

Then again... most water burns me. No clue why. I reckon I just have strange skin.
