The saying means this: Whatever compliment you pay a woman, she will always 'go to the mirror' because the compliments they most value are those about their appearance; so even if you say to her, 'You're really clever' she'll rush to the mirror, check herself out and wonder why you didn't compliment her on her hair, or her eyes! When you compliment a man, however, he is immediately suspicious, wondering if you are trying to 'butter him up', or ridiculing him, or trying to distract him, et al. Thus, the words may be metaphoric 'honey' entering his ears but it will pour out again because he won't let such nonsense in.
Overall, it means paying women compliments works wonders but paying men compliments does nothing - they fall on deaf ears.
There are dvds available that illustrate how compliments can take you with women.

It relies upon. in case you think of a pair of way a woman would gown or positioned themselves jointly.... to illustrate, portray her nails. What are the possibilities that a guy could be conscious some thing like that? subsequently, one would assume that she did it to get interest from women persons. on the different hand, compliments from adult men are much less envisioned, i think. then you definitely ought to evaluate how she feels on the subject of the guy complimenting her. If she knows a guy is a sleezey guy or woman who's basically attempting to get into her pants, i'm constructive she'd particularly take a compliment from a woman she knows because of the fact she knows that words from the former propose no longer something. on the different hand, if she knows a woman to be fake and catty, she would get excitement from a compliment from a male chum better.

What it means is that when you give a compliment to a woman they will look in the mirror, figuratively speaking it means look at themselves, and feel good about themselves. And when you give a man a compliment, honey will come pouring out of their ears, which means, figuratively speaking, that they'll start acting sweet & nice to you. When somebody pours honey out of themselves, it means they're talking/acting sweet towards you. When you compliment a man he feels so good that he will do anything for you at the moment.
I find it to be really true. When you compliment a woman she doesn't feel like she owes the complimentor anything, she just feels good about herself, but a man feels indebted to the complimentor and will act all nice to her/him.

It literally means honey pours out of his ears.
Then a bear, attracted by the honey, approaches to lick the honey off.
The man frightened tries to run, but the bear catches him and bats him around a bit while licking honey off.
When the honey stops running out, the bear leaves giving the man a final swat.
The man, bruised and battered by the bear, goes home and gets his Russian made machine pistol, goes to the house of the person that paid him the compliment and kills the family of that person.
Thus, the proverb really means don't ever compliment a male Arab because eventually it will cause him to harm you and your family.

(Taking up from the answer above, woman needs eye doctor, and, man needs ENT doc (for ear)...! But, no, look at the quote seriously!) It means compliment to woman is on appearance, beauty, good looks! And, to man is, some thing flattering about valour, wisdom, maturity, which is pleasing to the ears! That is expressed in figurative terms! A good saying reflecting human psychology, difference betwn. woman&man!

I never heard the saying, but i would assume it to mean no matter what he hears it will sound sweet because he listens with his other thinker.
