The PDSA used to do it but you have to be on benefits to get it free.

Many humane societies will have a lower rate for spaying a pet than a vet would but I don't think it would be free unless you got the dog from them. You could try to talk to your vet and see if you could set up a payment plan and pay for the operation over a few months time. I hope you find a way to get your dog spayed before you have puppies to deal with as well. Good Luck just call and ask it never hurts :)

The PDSA do it if you are on low income, eg. Income support. BUT it is most definitely NOT free. They still charge you. Depends if its a dog or female? A dog is cheaper. A female more money. They also so the vaccinations, again none of it is free. But they are still cheaper than paying full price at a normal vets.

Spayed. It means having the ovaries and uterus removed.

Which country are you from? Most have some kind of help for people in financial difficulties - the UK has the PDSA for people on benefits, the USA has care credit schemes. I doubt you'll find anyone to do it for free though, b itch spaying is much more difficult and expensive surgery than cat spaying.

I would ring a vet to find out what the options are for your area, they'll be able to tell you. Don't let the financial difficulty deter you from getting it done, it's important for her health!!

Dogs Trust offers neutering vouchers in certain areas for people on means tested benefits. Check out www.dogstrust.org.uk for more info. You could also try the PDSA, they're brill at helping people who are struggling to pay for vet treatment. You've made a great decision and i hope that you find someone to help you. Good luck. BTW if your dog is not very big it may not cost that much to do, maybe your vet would allow you to pay the bill in installments? You could always ask.

In the Uk I don't think you can! However some Vets will allow payment plans for people on low incomes or on State Benefits. They usually have lower prices than other practises too!
As most 'rescue organisations' either spay the dogs before re-homing or expect you to promise to do so, try asking them where is the best place to go.
Nothing comes 'free' with a dog except love!

While the thought of "mobile services" makes me cringe when talking about altering your dog, I can see the service good for something like vaccinations.

Go to friendsofanimals.org and look for their spay/neuter certificates. While not free, they are greatly reduced in price.

Go to your nearest PetCo or PetSmart and ask them when they have, if they have them, mobile sevices. Some cities have, like here in my city, the local SPCA come to local stores and offer "FREE" spay/nuedar services but you have to go like really early in the morning, (i.e. 5 a.m.-ish) based on a first come first serve. You would have to take your baby girl in a carrier, not feed or give her water her after 8 p.m. the night before and expect to leave her there for about 8 hours for the anesthisia to wear off. And yet you would still have to take her to your/the local vet to remove the stichings or anything they used to patch her up or she will get an infection, get sick or worse. Well good luck.
