OK, I used to weigh 320 and I'm down to 220. The last mile is the hardest. I got about maybe 30 more lbs to go but I find that it is super hard to be rid of the last of offending fat around my abdomin and my thigh area.

My caloric intake is minimal as I eat 5 meals, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner.

They consist of salad greens and tuna or chicken.

Tons of water.

Cardio exercise and martial arts.

I've gotten to the point where I am now at the point where I've started taking Methyl Ripped.

Nothing friggn' works! Have you had this problem and overcome it? If so, how did you do it?

Oh - breakfast is generall 2 whole eggs or 4 eggwhites + 1/2 old fashioned oatmeal (the kind with the whole grain and not cut)

Lunch and dinner usually has a carb item like a potatoe or something.

I do have yogurts every now and then. I've been taking a multi-vitamin and calcium supplements so I don't miss out on the calcium.

You have accomplished a great feat already and your body is getting accustomed to your new weight. Basically now you are in a plateau.

There are several ways to break a plateau.
1. Shake up your exercise routine. If you are jogging or walking as your cardio change over to stepping, taebo or a sport such as racquetball.
2. Change your targeted exercises. Have you been doing crunches? If so change to push aways or the bicycle. V-up will also give you good results. For your thighs try some side legs lifts or walking lunges.
3. Add some green tea to your diet. Although it won't boost metabolism like many say it will it is a diuretic. When you diet you cells get filled with the byproducts of dieting. Now until these cells can get emptied they can't fill up again. Usually water does this but the green tea will help to flush out your cells and allow them to start filling up quicker. You will pee a lot for the first day but that is the idea. You can also have water with lemon if you prefer instead of the green tea.

Your diet appear to be very good but you don't mention any dairy products. Maybe you are having them but just didn't say so. If your not try having a container of non-fat yogurt as a snack every day. The calcium will help slim down your middle.

Also if you are working more towards building up your muscles some of the weight may be new muscle. Instead of hitting the scale try on some clothes that were too tight for you a month ago and see how they fit now. You might be quite suprised.

Emp, I think if you do excersise that will target muscle development in the abdominal area and maintian your diet as you have already mentined then, as the Abdominal muscles need the added energy demands, that the fat in that area will be the most likely fat that will be utilized to obatin that energy. I think that anyexcercises that are designed to develope the "six pack* muscles would be the most likely ones to stimulate the abdominal fat to be converted to glucose to suppy those muscles. Abdominal fat is usualll the very last fat of the body to be converted as it is SO hard to actually target areas of fat storage. However as the fat reseves in other parts of the body become depleted, then the abdominal fat would be easier for the body to convert to energy than obtaining it from more distant areas. Continue with all of your other excercise regimiens as well, so that the fat doesn't have a chance to be taken up from else where in your body. I admire you for losing that 100 pounds and really hope that you not only achieve your wieght loss goal, but that you exceed it. Kudos to you, my friend. ^5's
