I'm 13 and I am really jumpy, i could be walking across the landing and see my mum coming up the stairs and i'll scream:S i don't know why. It's pretty bad, if i'm in my house and someone in my family starts talking to me and I don't know they're there, I won't think ' oh I didn't see you there'....i'll scream. I don't know how to explain but i never used to be like this. why am i so jumpy ??

No No!!!! There is nothing with the horrow films thats affecting you!!!
I'm a psychologist and I'll tell you the reason.
First of all, lts just say your body's hearing is very precautionate.
You are very stressed out and you shouldn't be.(You might not know it)
Take deep breaths in and out and drink plenty of water.
Also, do yoga and some NOT STRENOUS exercises.
Also, always think in your head that someone is expecting you...
Hope I helped!

Yes, the horror films could be the reason. Many horror films are rated R, which means you need to be at least 17 years old to view them. There is a reason why movies have ratings. Stop watching the horror films and watch something more calm and pleasant and happy.

Horror films will have probably had an impact, but you might have an anxious personality. I'm the same and jump at things, even if I know it is going to happen.
