Vomiting and cuttting yourself to attract attention are poor coping mechanisms. Aside from showing signs of emotional immaturity;and can become habitual ;they are also dangerous to your health. Vomiting can lead to dehydration thru he loss of vital electrolytes. Another consequence would be metabolic alkalosis. Excessive vomiting would cause metabolic acidosis.

Cuttting yourself might lead to internal bleeding and non-stop hemorrhage and infection including tetanus. Cutting yourself reflects poor self -esteem. Because, you asked it it will hurt; I'm sure you haven't done the latter. So pls don't act on your contemplation!

Why don't you seek the school sounsellor or the school nurse? Don't you have a favorite teacher? When i used to go to school; i had a favorite teacher that I was able to confide my family problems to.

Why don't you confront your mom and have a heart to heart talk with her?. I'm sure she's just as concerned as you are at these emotional and health problems of yours. I know you are reaching out for some help. Otherwise, you won't bother to pose your question here. Maybe, she wants the two of you to work together in solving a volatile issue. The adolescent stage can become quite a traumatic experience.

Vomiting may also be a reflex action to other spasmodic conditions (whooping cough, gagging
