How does your God tell you to worship him? Are you sure about it? Are you willing to waste time on something that you 'feel'? Why not just live a good life - treating others as you would like to be treated (no, not the way so many two-faced people do - making judgments about people you've never met - but honestly look yourself in the mirror and know the truth). If there is a God in control, they will know your intentions and that should be good enough. I don't believe there is any special formula (spinning in a chair with your eyes closed while touching the end of your nose, or accepting some specific person) as this world perceives. Why waste your life worrying about it?

We are to worship God.
That is why the temple curtain was torn when Jesus died, signifying that we could enter the "Holy of Holies", where God himself is. Something that was reserved for the High Priest before.

Jesus cleared the way for us and now we have the right to worship God directly, no longer having to go through a priest.

By his blood we are cleansed and made righteous, allowing us to enter the presence of God.
Without this cleansing we are still in sin and rebellion and have no right to enter into God's presence.

Jesus told us to repent and turn from our lifestyles, why? Because, the Kingdom of God was at hand.
He points us to God for reconciliation, that's what he came here to do.

700 years before Christ, Isaiah wrote,"This is what the Almighty LORD says: I am going to lay a rock in Zion, a rock that has been tested, a precious cornerstone, a solid foundation. Whoever believes in him will not worry. Isa 28:16 "

Be careful not to be like the Jews who tried to find God their own way yet "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone"

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hello. I encourage you to learn about Islam. We believe in One God, the same God of Adam and Moses and Abraham and Jesus. We believe in the Virgin Birth and in the fact that Jesus was a Prophet, and that he is the Messiah, but we also believe he is human. We worship God and believe the message of Jesus was also to worship God with no partners. He never taught us to worship him.

May Allah guide you to that which is best in this world and the next. Ameen.

Fi Aman Allah,

Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

In the Bible it is written..."This is eternal life...to know God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent."
Ask God to reveal Himself to you. Why would a God create us all different and unique and then not bother to let us get to know and relate to Him? Keep seeking until you know you have found pure and true Love and Peace.
God will not lead you to hate or to murder. And forgiveness is the light that surrounds Him. Any God we create is not a God at all. If Jesus is God..then your determined search will find Him. The journey to knowing God starts now and will not end until you are changed completely and will continue for the rest of your earthly life. Never stop seeking to know Him more and be changed by Him into a likeness more and more like Him. God is Love.

Jesus did not seek worship. All prayer shoulkd go to his Father in heaven, Jehovah God...but always THROUGH Jesus.
(John 14:6) Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

And when Jesus himself needed strength, WHO did he pray to?

It was his father. Jehovah God.
(Luke 23:34) [[But Jesus was saying: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”]] Furthermore, to distribute his garments, they cast lots.

We are to worship God through Jesus Christ....

They are pretty much the same Person.

Read John 8:58 & John 10:30

Jesus Christ was God wrapped in flesh while here on earth. There are a ton of verses in Scripture that point directly to the Deity of Jesus Christ

Good question.

The way I resolved that was to worship the Father, but to address my prayers to the Father through the Son. Thus, Jesus assumes his role as mediator and advocate for us with the Father.

I know it's not a perfect answer, but so far, it's worked for me.

Christians assert that God and Jesus are one in the same, so assuming that's true, it shouldn't really matter which you "worship". Follow your heart and you should be fine.
