as I have nto had my monthly for just over 2 months now I am bleeding a lot. Would it be suicide if I let this go on and I died? I am serious here. Early last year I had this problem but a little worse where I was loosing too much blod for more than 9 days and looking pale and throbing headaches, and faint and walking wobbly as if I had of left it I would have died. I was saved back then. So would God see it as suicide. I did go to the doctors this afternoon about it and the doctor was going to put me on the pill but since I have a family history of blood clots I said no. She did nothing else for me. I am still bleeding and yes I wanna go home. So what is your oppinion, will God see this as suicide? Because the bleeding is not my fault. Last year I started to hemerage to death, that was when everyone was on my back about going to the ER, and when I did they gave me meds to stop it. Now I am readly to go home.

Maora you had such an encouraging message, it was very nice thank you. I loved reading it, it was the best message I have recieved on here. You are right God will hear me and if he feels there is nothing left for me here he will take me, yes. Thank you. I will take this to God tonight. God bless you, Leanne

I'm so sorry to hear your story. I think the bigger problem would be that you want to die, even if you do it passively. Talk to your doctor, not just about your bleeding, but about your thoughts of suicide. There's lots of help you can get, where right now it seems really hopeless. There are other treatment options that will help both the bleeding and the depression.
On the religious front, God knows your heart, and he knows you're weary. What you really need to do is ask yourself, and pray a lot, over whether your time on earth here is up, whether there is no work that God has planned for you here, and whether there is nothing more you can do for him here. Never underestimate the light you are for Jesus to others just by continuing on and trusting in Him through difficult situations.
Know that you can rely on God to comfort your spirit even through the pain, and know that there are resources for you to help if you're thinking about suicide.

I'll be praying for you.

Wait...if you can, go to the hospital or something, go ahead and get cured. I can understand the impulse to "want to go home," but God has made hospitals and given humanity medical knowledge to cure people. Everyone has a purpose and God might still have one in mind for you.

Nobody can truly know if that would be considered suicide. I personally think that some choices aren't "suicidal"--such as choosing not to get treatment for really bad cancer, for instance. But if you can be cured, please take the option, as that is a bit too fuzzy so it may indeed be suicide. Always err on the side of the life God gave you. God certainly loves you and wants you to live a full, healthy, happy life where you can serve Him with love and help others. Perhaps you are meant to be a spokesperson for those who have medical conditions, etc.

It sounds like you are really tired, but don't make decisions based on that. Think to yourself, "How can i best help God's purposes in the world?" and so do that. I will love you as a sister and am sure God loves you. Prayers and best wishes.

Get medical help.

If you are concerned about blood clots and you are over the age of 35 and smoke, then hormonal contraception may not be the best choice for you.

There is no such thing as a god that intervenes in human affairs. All disease is related to biology, not the supernatural. Seeing this fact, there is no way to justify poor medical treatment. Healing is a matter of building knowledge and having the compassion to apply it to others. So stop bickering over the suicide issue, and seek help.

Heavy bleeding is called menorrhagia. I too, had this for several years until I finally went and saw a doctor who completely relieved this through a very simple outpatient procedure. The procedure is called endometrial ablation. Endometrial ablation is the removal or destruction of the endometrium (lining of the uterus). It does not require hospitalization, and most women return to normal activities in a day or two. Ablation is an alternative to hysterectomy for many women with heavy uterine bleeding who wish to avoid major surgery. After a successful endometrial ablation, most women will have little or no menstrual bleeding. I had this procedure done last August (2006) and have not had an official period since. I have occasional spotting, every few months. As far as going home, God needs more Christians here working for him than in heaven so go find a OB/GYN physician and ask them about this procedure.

Actually, you're asking the wrong questions in the wrong place. A fatal medical condition would never be suicide in the eyes of God.

Now to the real issue. You seem to be describing a condition called 'endometriosis' and this is quite treatable. You need to pursue this with competent medical personel.

Evaluate where you are being treated and seek a specialist. If money is an issue see a representative of your local medically indigent assistance office.

Going home is fine. Getting healthy and going home is better. It sounds like you are visiting an emergency room when you need to be seeking treatment elsewhere.

Sounds like you need a new doctor, one who will explore what is causing the uncontrolled bleeding. Have you ever been in a situation where the bleeding was excessive but eventually stopped on it's own? You have to find a doctor whose judgment you trust, to be able to address both the bleeding problem and the potential for clots. You might also want to talk with your pastor about the Lord's guidance on suicide.

So, your purpose for being here has been fulfilled? Have you finished the work God has for you? Or are you only thinking of yourself? I want to go home, too. There are probably times when every Christian feels that way. But, sadly, you made no mention of praying. Talk to God. Tell Him how you feel and what you want. He alone can answer these deep questions.

It would be clasified as suicide if you knowlingly allow yourself to die without doing everything in your power to stop it. You mentioned that they gave you a drug to stop it last time, why aren't you seeking that option this time?

With the medical community such that it is in today's world, there is no reason this can't be corrected.

Go and see a better doctor, they will help you. They may recommend counselling also. Asking Christians (or anyone) on yahoo answers is a bad way to treat the risk of bleeding to death, time is of the essence....

Go. Now. See a qualified GP in person.

And love to you.

**EDIT** DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT take medical advice or drug recommendations from people on message boards.

I will report anyone who 'diagnoses' and recommends drugs here.

No its only suicide if you want to die and do nothing to stop it. you have no control over what your body does in that fashion but if you ignore it and do nothing then it may be suicide. but if you don't want to die then see a doctor and get it taken care of. there is no reason why you shouldn't.
