I'm very much aware of the whole contacts/fans business on Answers, but I only really use it so that I can pay particular attention to people whose opinions I trust. I also use it to reciprocate that same trust and friendship.

Basically if I add you, it means I hold you in high regard, or it could mean you've added me, and I'm showing respect.

But it seems I have a few people who actively use it to accompany me throughout my Answers journey. Okay I sometimes answer a string of questions and stars by my contacts, but it's a case of 'when the feeling takes me'.

I feel honoured to know that my opinion is valued by some, and I would like to extend my thanks to anyone who looks out for and answers my questions. You make my answers worth giving.

Reason for using the word 'disciples'?

I try to be more of a teacher than a learner, and I think the word reflects that better.

Love to all. Tell me your views.

Smoke On. Not really, just interested. Just kinda cool to think about, considering it would be the first time I've had anyone so much as listen to me, never mind agree.

One of those things we all wonder about from time to time.

Retro -- we are all simultaneously teachers and students. When we stop thinking we are learning and instead are only teaching, then we actually stop teaching well. I learn more from my students than I could possibly teach them.

As we all learn from you. So yes, in that regard, you have disciples. You would not have the quality of people responding to your questions that you currently have if they did not feel a sense of wealth coming from being in contact with you. You have a depth of vision that is both esoteric and realistic, or exoteric if you will. What a beautiful balance.

And you have a sweet sense of humor, too. 'Tis a shame you live all the way across the ocean from me and that I am old enough to be (at least) your mother . . . but then age is a number, and distance can be shortened . . . ah, but alas, I already found me a sweet young thing (or rather, HE found ME).

Teach. Always. For through teaching, YOU will learn. And through YOUR teaching, WE will learn.

Love to you.

Retro, maybe not disciples but you DO ask interesting questions. I, as one of those on your contact list, find you to be a thought provoking person and my favorite thing to do is to THINK. That is MY story, and I'm sticking to it. LOL
