My friends are getting married next month and i'm thinking of getting them something unique that they won't expect from anyone. Can anybody help me with some ideas?
I was thinking of a Wedding Album of those unique moments during the wedding day and give it to them later; but i don't know if that will be right to send the present afterwords.
What do you guys think?

Unless you are going to follow them around the entire night with the photographer, it might be a little difficult to get those unique shots - and if they hired a journalistic photographer, chances are that person is going to get some pretty great shots.

You could always make them a slide show or collage of pictures from throughout their relationship. Parents are always willing to give up some baby pictures and I'm sure if you tell them what you need them for - you will get some great ones. And it will be an unexpected addition to the reception or the brunch the following day.

According to old fashioned etiquette you can give the couple a wedding present at any time in the first year of their marriage.

If I were you I would get them a nice card and put a note in it saying that you will be giving them their present later.

I don't think it matters if you send your present after, if your worried about it perhaps give them a card explaining that your present is coming...
Something fun that adds to the receptions as well is getting canvas's and getting guests to write or paint somthing on it for the bride and groom. A friend did this for an engagement party...it was great and now hangs in their lounge.

It's a fantastic idea but one that a lot of people have probably thought of the samething.

Have you thought of getting a beautiful big frame for their wedding photos. They then can put them up in their home for all to see.

There is no problem with sending a present afterwards.

Sounds like a very nice idea!

A unique gift is great but don't cheap out. A photo album is nice but get them an actual gift too. I don't want to be rude, it's just that your friend is paying so much for her wedding. I'm sure she'll love you album but make sure you give a gift they wanted too.

A unique gift that I've loved is maid service for 3 months. I loved it. That way I could chill out after work instead of cleaning.

I know that might seem like your saying: "your a slob" but maybe you could give maid service and a massage. That way it looks more like you want her to relax.

I hope that helps!

How about a gift certificate to a bed and breakfast? My hubby and I go to those once a year and it's quite enjoyable.
