Yes apthous ulcers which are viral can occur on the palate. There isn't much that is useful for treating them, but they are self limiting, lasting about 10 days. If your ulcer lasts much longer than that get your GP or dentist to check it is nothing more sinister.

i had one as a reaction to some pills i was taking once
it it one of the most painful mouth ulcers!if u have one, go to the doctor. they can give u some spray that numbs the pain of the ulcer while it heals
it works!!

U Can get them anywhere in Ur mouth and they can b very painful best thing 2 do is go to see Ur doctor..
