It will depend somewhat on when your birthday is and what the rules are about entering school in the district(s) you have attended.
Children typically enter kindergarten at age 5. The rule is that a child must be five by a certain date in order to start kindergarten. Some school districts say by September 1, while other say by December 1, or some other date.
If you entered kindergarten when you were five, then you would enter 9th grade at age 14. You might be anything from just turned 14, to about to turn 15.
In recent years there has been a significant trend for parents to hold their children back from entering kindergarten if they are just barely old enough to start, particularly if there is any reason they think the child might not be ready to begin school. The reasoning is that it is better to give the child an extra year to mature and develop so that s/he will be more likely to be successful and less likely to struggle in school.

Tha proper age to be in 9th grade is way past the point where you learn how to spell "the". Another three letters you might want to pay attention to are G.E.D.
