God did not say the race of the people in the Bible so that it would not distract anyone from coming to Him and hearing the Message of the Word

There are a whole lot of other things to learn from Adam and Eve besides there race which you will never be able to definitely prove
Read the Bible for the message and lessons you need to learn to bring you closer to God

My understanding is you are half right. I believe they were actually more like the Red Indians in skin color. As I understand it, taking out the vowels leaves _d_m, which is the same as Edom (_d_m) which means red in Hebrew, hence the belief by some scholars that Adam's skin was a sort of red color.
