I've heard ppl say that, because of all the logical, scientifical facts of the world, God doesn't exist. WTF? That doesn't make any sense at all!!!! God created this world, and He created it the way it is. The systems of our bodies, like respiratory, circulatory, etc., work so well together because God made it that way. This universe of ours is NOT an accident, but a well-designed plan of a powerful being.
The world isn't perfect, I know, but that's kinda our fault--we sinned, and we keep sinning, and so there are bad things in the world. God offers us a way to a better life--by believing in Him, and trusting that He will guide you.
My definition of science:
Our way of explaining God's wonderful world.
And He's coming back!!!!

Science IS evidence that He exists.
Apart from that, there is plenty of evidence, like the feeling I get every time I pray for something, then afterwards I have this feeling like I know it's being heard...it's not just me fantasizing, either. Other ppl have felt it, too. And the prophecies of the Bible and the things God says, like about sanitization, are incredible. God spoke about the world being round LONG before anyone ever thought about it.

Your question and comments remind me of letter written by Albert Einstein. A 6th grade student wrote to him in Princeton (Jan.19,1936) asking him if scientists pray, and if so what they pray for. His reply (Jan.24,1936) was as follows:
"I have tried to respond to your question as simply as I could. Here is my answer.
Scientific research is based on the idea that everything that takes place is determined by laws of nature, and therefore this holds for the actions of people. For this reason, a research scientist will hardly be inclined to believe that events could be influenced by a prayer, i.e. by a wish addressed to a supernatural Being.
However, it must be admitted that our actual knowledge of these laws is only imperfect and fragmentary, so that, actually, the belief in the existence of basic all-embracing laws in Nature also rests on a sort of faith. All the same this faith has been largely justified so far by the success of scientific research.
But, on the other hand, every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe -- a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble. In this way the pursuit of science leads to a religious feeling of a special sort, which is indeed quite different from the religiosity of someone more naive.
What I see in Nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of "humility." This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism."

Not sure...I'm no scientist. However, what I do ask myself is this: Once science explains the origins of the universe (essentially proving the Big Bang Theory) which I believe they are closer to doing, then how do you explain where that 'tiny dot' of energy comes from? What started that? Did it just magically appear? From where? And what existed before that? In that same space? Those materials and elements which make up the big bang particles, are the same found universally in organic and non-organic mass. I believe that science is getting closer to proving these questions and, thus, maybe not proving the existence of God, yet, but it brings us closer to a greater credibility of that question. What created the particles of the big bang? What existed before? And what triggered it?

There's many proven FACTS which explain the workings of our world, universe & bodies.
There are none which prove the existence of your god.
You many feel compelled to come back with a bible quote or some other learned superstitous babble - but I encourage you to do some research on your religion.
Don't take my word for it - take an honest approach to find out what your religion is really about, the motives behind those who invented it & the reasons why religious leaders thrive on deceiving you.
You've been trained like a domesticated animal to obey & react.
The world isn't perfect because it's not supposed to be. Nature dictates it's workings & is cruel & unyeilding & at the same time beautiful & full of wonder.
There is no such thing as SIN. The terms "good" & "bad" are relative to those who perceive them.
These things might be beyond your understanding as you've already been brainwashed by your death cult.
If you refuse to open your mind to rational & unbiased inquiry - just keep waiting on Jesus.
When he gets here ask him what took him so long.

vlyplyr, I do not think that most educated people, including atheists, would say that scientifical (good word!) evidence proves that God does not exist. By definition, God is outside the realm of the physical and therefore not a subject of science. It cannot prove or disprove the existence of God.
Therefore, atheists who say the fact that science has proven much of the Bible (if taken literally) to be false or inaccurate *proves* that God does not exist are wrong. That also means that Christians like yourself who say that the existence, complexity and beauty of the universe *prove* that God exists are just as wrong.
There is nothing, scientifically or even logically speaking, to prove that God exists except the human imagination. So I think most atheists would *not* tell you they don't believe in God because "science proves He doesn't exist." Rather they would say that they do not believe in God because there is no reason to believe in Him, no incontrovertible evidence of His existence. I personally am an agnostic because there is no proven or provable evidence either way as to God's existence.
God may or may not exist, but nothing in the physical universe, including science, inarguably "proves" whether He does or does not.

But sexual reproduction exists in order to randomize the characteristics of the succeeding generation. That isn't designing, it's rolling dice. If we were well designed, then we would reproduce by cloning, to ensure that our children are exactly as perfectly made as we are. I design software as part of my job, and I'd be out of business if my work re-wrote itself every time it got installed.
The big thing with science is that is shows that nature works without the need of a wizard behind the curtain making the smoke puff out. If God existed as Christians claim, then miracles would be commonplace and verifiable. True miracles, meaning observable events in which the laws of physics are clearly violated, would show that science doesn't have all the answers. Sadly for the Christians, all we get is obvious charlatans like Peter Popoff pretending to hear the word of the Lord. Give me science any day over thieves like him.

sorry.
god just doesn't fit in the scientific method.
You know the way it goes - form a hypothesis, make observations through experiments, affirm or negate the hypothesis.
Let's try it now - the hypothesis is "god exists". we can't observe anything, since your god can't be seen, heard, touched, tasted, smelled, or sensed even with the most sophisticated equipment. We shoot probes into space, and we can't even find the guy, no matter how far we look. So, our observations point to a negative hypothesis, or at the very least, inconclusive due to lack of obtainable evidence.
I am kind of exaggerating of course, since you can't actually prove a negative, ever.
Scientist's definition of god:
A mythical creature, much like the easter bunny, that if people believe in hard enough they think he'll make all their wishes come true.

Science doesn't prove that God doesn't exist any more than it proves that Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny doesn't exist.
Science gives us answers for things credited to your imaginary God based on observation, expiramentation, logic, hypothesis and reason.
Science, in a nutshell, weakens the probability that God exists, therefore, making the belief in something that doesn't exist, unnecessary.

because according to religion god made the world in 7 days a couple of thousand years ago, (this is what christians believe)
however there is evidence that dinasours existed on earth millions of years ago
human bones have been found that are over 40,000 years old
so when god was credited with making the world it was already here

Science is easy to believe in. You don't have to think for yourself at all. You're told what is true, shown the evidence, and you believe it. Now, people can say the same thing about faith, except the evidence is not as clear. It takes courage to believe in God, especially when the rest of the world tells you to not believe.

The Scientists think they can still alive only with their body without soul and spirit. They called it a prove but that was no prove at all if God doesnt exist.
They are the same as an Atheist who only believe to their intelligence.
We cant debat them, just pray for them.
Jesus bless u,
