Listen to isa that longhorn guy is completely wrong. Even though the movies out now are releaseing in Blu-Ray and Hd-Dvd Blu-Ray is a much higher quality and is the future of DVD's. I have already read the HD-DVD is a complete bust since Blu-Ray is expected to demolish it. And if u get any Blu-Ray player between now and Sept 1 u get 5 Blu-Ray movies FREE!. They should give u a coupon for it when you buy it.

actually the last guy is saying the total opposite. blu-ray has more titles and movie studios behind them then hd-dvd. but the thing that hd-dvd has is the price and if it even matters that the porn industry are using hd dvd then blu ray. if u dont want something expensive go with hd dvd. if you want more titles but dont mind the price then go for blu ray.

Blu ray doesnt have as many movies even though it has better quality. i would wait until Blu ray becomes more popular and more movies become available for Blu ray. but until then, HD DVD its got more movies and is apparently cheaper! just get the HD TV first!

Picture quality is dead even with Blue Ray and HD. Just two seperate companies that put out the same results. Some say Blue Ray some Say HD but the war is not about picture quality it's about production rights.
