Since I basically believe in a higher power/energy (mainly the power of physics that keeps it all moving). I could ALMOST believe in the bible, but it seems too far fetched. I see more fact in evolution.
I love people and life and all things involved.
I went to a christian church for about 1 year with my wife (who is a christian, and gave it all I could, it just wasn't my thing.
Is there a demoniation that covers this besides New Age or Scientology?

Physics plays a big part in a lot of Buddhist thought. Try reading The Quantum and The Lotus, The The Tao Of Physics or The Universe is a Single Atom by the Dalai Lama.

Deism. But study the Word with an open mind and an open heart. I'm a believer. God fetched me when I was far from him, so I don't have a problem with the far fetched. There are many paradoxes in the bible, but no contradictions. Jesus is real. All the disciples were tortured to death for claiming to have seen Jesus risen from the dead. Maybe one or two could be lunatics or liars, but the fact that they claimed to have seen him physically risen from the dead is compelling.
It's hard to find a good church. Just go with the bible and keep your eyes on Jesus. Many will try to bring in man made tradition or make the gospel into something boring, but you have a personal responsibility. Follow God and go to church to encourage others.

Islam is the best religion that explains all phenomena that we witness, which we do not witness and which we are yet to witness.
The Holy Qur'an is a Book that has been proven scientifically correct and it still contains facts that are yet too advanced for science to prove correct.
Read literature by the Late Ahmed Deedat and Dr Zakir Naik among others on the topic of The Holy Qur'an and Science.

The best thing about right now is that you can take what you like from various methods and turn them in to your own. I work as a solitary and have for the last 20 years. I have everything from voudou to Hermetic Ritual Magik included in my workings. You can start following one rede but dont discount other paths if there is something that you like. You are your own goddess and you can follow the path that is set before you.

Sounds like the Lord never became real to you. I would recommend you trying going to church again and try going with a heart for God. Like when you believe in something and you stand strong for it. Just give it one more try. If it doesn't work out for you, then I'll pray for you! God Bless!
