i have 5 cats at night they race around my house and meow and they just go nuts.
all of my cats are fixed so they are not in heat.
what can be making them go crazy like this?

Cats are nocturnal animals so they are more active at night than they are in the daytime.
I've been ran over and woke up out of my sleep by my cats more times than I care to count but ya gotta love them

They need more cat toys to amuse themselves with. Its cooler during the night so they are more active. Wait til winter and things probably will get back to normal. So one cat starts racing around the others follow to see whats the excitement is and its the racing around. Did you put away the catnip?

My cat does that too, but she does it all the time. It could be the kind of breed it is. My cat runs all hyper and talks up a storm at night but she runs wild during the day. So relax it ins't just your cat!!

Sometimes kitties do that. It's called 'nightime crazies'. Try feeding them at this time to calm them down.
My cats used to do this but they stopped when I started to feed them when they went crazy at night.

theyre singing and dancing. didnt the looney toons teach u anything >:( XD
maybe they dont get enough excitement in the day?

same problem i think it is because they sleep all day and so the have so much energy to get rid of so they play and make sooo much noise
