How many of you that have been in a relationship for longer than five years have NEVER forgotten the birthday of your significant other or your anniversary.

I say everyone has forgotten at least once, but my friend disagrees. Just trying to get a feel for how many have been perfect in this regard.

Honest answers please.

I can guarantee that I love my family and my boyfriend, but I have forgotten my boyfriends birthday once and it took me YEARS to remember my mom's. lol

I love them all dearly and usually I'm pretty good now, but I have my moments especially when my life is busy. I always give belated presents if I forget, though.

in seven years iv never remembered my partners birthday.
last year i for got my own.
i place very little importance on thing like birthdays or Christmas except were children are concerned.
while i believe in embracing the child with ones self to an extent, adults that get upset over family or a partner forgetting their birthday come across as neurotic, selfish and more than a little shallow.
its not much effort to show a little affection and appreciation every day to a partner, but if you want to find things to take offence over you will find plenty and sabotage your relationship a little more every day.
i think a bad memory is a bonus in a relation ship especially were little annoyances are concerned other wise you end up with an ever growing pile of crap for a relationship.

Birthdays we don't forget. Our own anniversary we remember all the time, but not always on the date of the anniversary.

Life is to be enjoyed, you celebrate it every day, not just on your birthday or anniversary. Celebrate does not mean drink as a fool does, it means enjoying each other's company.
