She is trying to see if you have the same values as her. That is a very personal question that she is probably asking because she REALLY wants to know. Be careful....find out hers first.

Religion plays an important role to some people....it would more or less dictate if you have the same values or beliefs....it may also be important to her parents that she will be dating someone of the same religion...
