on what i should wear the first day...you know first impression is the main thing in high school...im a sophmore and would love if you kould give me good tips

As you already stated, you're a sophmore. Therefore you've already been through a freshmen year and have been 'put into a group/clique' at your school already.
What to wear your first day depends on that, are you known as the school slut? dont ruin your reputation now. You have to keep it up, If you came in wearing sweatshirts and sweatpants as the school slut, your life would end.
The idea of that is to simply point you, you need to wear what fits with your crowd. There is no magical answer, and no matter what, people already know you. Your not making a first impression, you've already made that. The only people who are meeting you for the first time are the freshmen, who most likely saw you when you were in 8th grade. In highschool, lower class opinions are not 'important'.

Considering that they most likely have known you since 1st grade you cant make a 1st impression, also we dont know what clothes you have && put this question in a different category it may help!

Definitely wear something that your comfortable in, but not to boring because people Will label wrong. I suggest something flirty if your girly or something just plain cute that you love!

Don't wear anything revealing; people will automatically label you as a slut. Wear somethign nice, not to flashy or revealing. Something conservative.

something really stylish... go to the mall look around at people about your age... look in magazines at ideas....
