It was painful I guess for like, 2 seconds. Definitely more painful than my bellybutton/tongue/ears.
But the pain was gone really quick, so whatever. :]]
The nose stud tickled my nose for like, a week. And I was like. Oh dang. Tickly. D:
But then it went all good. Except don't catch it on anything. Or it hurts like. Awfully bad. LIKE A RACCOON TO THE FACE.
But anyway.

well no1 is going to be able to calm you down but listen ihave 8 tattoos and 7 pericings, ive beento alot of tattoos shops and never had a bad experience, make sur ethey take the needle out of the bag! everyone is different when it comes to peircing pain, i dont feel them at all but my best friend feels every second. its definatley going to bea different expericen for you the redness should go away after a couple hours and you can change the stud id say just leave it in til you are comfortable with takign it out. cleaning it they will explain it to you but all u need to do is clean around the stud with water and antibacterial soap(softsoap) you should be fine and if its something you really really want then you definatley will eb fine if u are just doing it to do it im not going to say you are going to have the best experience ever everything i have i wanted it i didnt just do it. you noe well good luck to u and i hope i helped even a little bit!

I just got my nose pierced last week. I like needles so it was a pleasant experience for me.
If you decide to get it after care includes: neosporin, sea salt and warm water, don't touch it, and it's a good idea to get it pierced with a ring that way it'll get air. The hole looks bigger then it actually is for about three days then it starts to heal and it swells down.

I just got mine two days ago. It didn't hurt initially, and the piercing itself doesn't hurt, but the stud I have in is far too long and keeps poking my septum! That's my only complaint about it. It's super cute and totally worth it.

It wasn't painful but made my eyes drop tears instantly...but I love my piercing :) and everybody said my nose piercing is cute

It's not that painful, but it can be really annoying. If you use a hoop instead of a stud, it's comforable and hot!
