Why not just stop praying and washing every minute and filling your head with non-stop thoughts about Allah for a start. Then, when your head is feeling clearer, read up on other ideas of a theological or spiritual nature and give them some quality thought.

You can be a Free-thinker and just appreciate all faiths while taking the next few years to learn and choose what you want to believe in on your own. If you lived in the west, you would be protected by the laws that allow all people to practise whatever faith they choose. But if you want to stay in Malaysia, like others said, be careful the Religion Police don't find out.

Peace, freedom and choice be with you.

There are no official procedures. The most important conversion is from your heart. Changing religion does not change a human heart. If that was the case the world would have stopped fighting a long time ago. However, if Jesus changes your heart then you can be sure there will a obvious change. Try it out and you will would not be sorry.

from what i read from the newspaper u r not allow to convert to non-Muslim in Malaysia if u r already a Muslim. U might want to check n apply thru the Muslim court, but the chances of approval is very low.

Offically just walk away. I know there are Christians in May and radio and internet. I don't know what is available are safe to use. I pray that you will with guidance from the Holy Spirit find a way. In the mean time go o gracethrufaith.com and learn all you can. Get a bible and study. Jesus is waiting for you to call to him personaly. He will answer.
God Bless! PS Cebu has a lot to offer.

There is no way to convert from being Muslim - only death. If someone finds out, that may come also.

Stop believing in religious labels; Muslim, Christian, etc. Labels will not lead you anywhere. To preactice true religion, one must remember God, serve the community selflessly, and share with the needy and less fortunate.

Only then will you find true peace.

You should research the various religions and see what feels right. Personally, I would recommend reading up on Sikhism. People are often confused about Sikhs, but if you do some research, you will find your path.

Resources:
http://www.sikhs.org (great statring place for info on Sikhs)
http://www.projectnaad.com (for comparitive study of Sikhism, Islam, Christianity, Bahai, and Buddhism)

First, you would go to a church, temple, synagogue, or other center of worship and ask to learn about the religion. When you have chosen a religion you might want to join, ask if there are classes, or how you can learn more about it. Then if you still want to join, do whatever is required to become a member; it will be different depending on which religion you choose.

My ex boyfriend was 1st a Christian then he became a Muslim, then he decided to become a Christian again. (he thought being a Muslim meant he had to give up all meat, not just pork!) So anyway, he didn't do anything special, he just starting going to church again, and I think he was re-baptized. So whatever religion you are trying to get into should have its own ritual for conversion. Good Luck.

to me...it's all in the heart.
converting process is the outer part of converting...to show others that you merely convert into another religion and the celebrations.
there's only one GOD, it's what you believe in!! the practice to pray to GOD might be different as it was brought by different people.
looking into the matter thoroughly, it eventually come from one.....GOD!
converting from muslim to non-muslim in Malaysia is almost impossible. The government won't allow you to do that, but GOD did mentioned.."Tiada Paksaan dalam Agama!". Believe in yourself that there's GOD. Pray to GOD and GOD will bless you always!

Salam! I must tell you that you are going to make a horrible mistake, believe it or not- today, Islam is the fastest spreading religion in the world. I don't understand what has made you think this. I feel sorry for you that Allah created you Muslim-the best gift to men kind you should thank him instead. I know, you don't have the right knowledge of Islam and this has made you think of converting.
Remember this, Allah created you, from him we came and to we shell return. Then who are you going to pray? God? he is Allah! or someone else? who God created? What does your brain say?
We have very little span on this earth. No one knows when we may die so what will you do then. who will save you?
I am not saying that you do what I say but I tell you to Read the Quran, Bible... and all the other religious books in the language you understand best! before you make any decision.
Well, let me tell you bible came only for the people of bani Israel but Quran was reveled to for the whole mankind. It is the complete religion. The person who will be admitted to the Jannah (Heaven) only have achieved the in their life. Islam is not about terrorism it is the religion of peace. I feel sorry again that you could not understand I slam properly.

Lady this is from the Christian bible Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Confess that you need Him and ask Him to be your God. It is that simple. You do not need to find a church, He will lead you to one when He wants to.
You do not need to give up anything to be accepted by Him and don't focus on giving up anything once you have accepted Him. Allow Him to lead you into, and out, of what He wants for you. He knows what is best, He made you and all that you see around you.
