i have tonsilitis. ( an infection in my tonsils )
and my doctor told me to get some hydrogen peroxide,
the first time i got it. it was from the pharmacy. and that hydrogen peroxide sayd "oral wash" on it. so i guess you can say it was for mouthwash as well. but i ran out so i went to get some more but the usp is 3% and still the same and everything but the new bottle of hydrogen peroxide does say "oral healthy wash" or whatever on it
can i still use it?
i need the infection to go away,

yes I use peroxide all of the time as mouthwash. I dilute it with water though (bubbles up to much). On top of fighting infections it whitens your teeth. As long as you dont swallow it it is safe to use.

Hydrogen peroxide is safe as a mouthwash and gargle. I had serious tonsillitis several years ago and I found an old home remedy that was a great help to me. I made up a bottle of two thirds honey and one third apple cider vinegar. Each hour I gargled with it and then swallowed the mixture. In twenty-four hours, the white pockets on my tonsils drained, my fever went down and my throat healed.

Yes, it's safe. Make sure you gargle with it so the bubbles can get to your tonsils. It kills bacteria that cause sore throats, etc. Also, swish it through your whole mouth and between your teeth since it is also a tooth whitener. Don't swallow it, it's nasty to have those bubbles going down, but, if you do, it won't kill you, just make you uncomfortable. You can rinse with water right after without it minimizing it's effectiveness. It is also good for cleaning cuts and abrasions prior to using a bandaid.

Also, I use it to kill the bacteria in my sinks, I like the fizz, makes me think it's really working! lol.

Yes you can use it as mouth wash. It's actually one of the best starilizers you can get. Just don't swallow the peroxide and you might try diluting it with water....but it can be swished straight.
