i have tonsilitis. ( an infection in my tonsils )
and my doctor told me to get some hydrogen peroxide,
the first time i got it. it was from the pharmacy. and that hydrogen peroxide sayd "oral wash" on it. so i guess you can say it was for mouthwash as well. but i ran out so i went to get some more but the usp is 3% and still the same and everything but the new bottle of hydrogen peroxide does say "oral healthy wash" or whatever on it
can i still use it?
i need the infection to go away,

As long as it's not a high concentration(which you'll never find at any mega-mart), you're fine. Just don't swallow any, or you'll be sicker than a dog. It's also great for cleaning mouth wounds, like a bitten tounge, or a busted lip. Just swish, spit, and rinse, you'll lose the infection in no time.

was there a pharmacist around to help you? they would know for sure.

if you're on a second bottle, i would suggest seeing a doctor again. the HP is the cure...it minimizes the discomfort. you need antibiotics. the HP, in large doses affects red blood cells and could kill you.

Yes, it's safe to use it. Peroxide is great for tooth problems and throat infections, plus it kills bad breath germs and gingivitis. It just tastes terrible.

Whatever you do, don't swallow it. It's extremely bad for you.
