Just to tell us the Bible is not true. Not only that, then atheists go into detail on which parts of the Bible are false. Do you really think Christians are going to listen to your BS and say yea" Sparky" you got me convinced.

I am not in misery, I am actually happier than I have ever been... starting college, got a great job and fellowship, getting along with friends and family, not afraid of god... it's all good.
The reason we tell you that the bible is not true, and point out which parts are particularly flawed, is because we are trying to educate you guys and help you be better people. You have to realize that the bible was based on hearsay and campfire stories told by ancient people who had no concept of science, and that it has been translated and edited many times throughout the years. I am not anti-Christian, I am trying to help you guys see the truth, which is that the bible is a fundamentally flawed book.

why do you assume all atheists are miserable? doesnt make any sense, especially since i was just as miserable when i was a christian going to church 3 times a week....anyway, nobody's trying to convince you of anything, because we already know people like you are too brainwashed to even consider the atheist, or agnostic,etc. point of view..we are just shedding some light on the people who care and if they choose to listen then great, if not, who cares- i could give a **** less...i just think this crap is funny

Atheist are but a good reader, hahahaha, their just more spiritual than mere christians, most christian often read the bible, but they (Atheist) reads a lot, wow, they are more christian than i can think of, hehehehe, (isnt it Atheist???) but the prob with them, they just dont want to take God as they can see that God is existin, well God Bless Atheist Bible Scholars, im hopin in that way (readin the bible) they would be a good follower of Christ, what im wondrin is that if they dont believe in the bible why would they (atheist) reads the bible. hmmm, ????

Atheists aren't miserable. They're just as happy with their beliefs as you are with yours.
And the majority of the time I see them talking about the Bible, it's because a Christian has been rude and tried to force it on them first. (not all Christians, just some)

I come to the Religion AND SPIRITUALITY section of Answers to answer questions about religion and spirituality. If you're going to get your panties all twisted up when somebody gives you an answer you don't agree with, why do YOU go here? Sounds to me like you're the one who's miserable.
