What if you're wrong about your beliefs?
Let's just play pretend here, and play along with me.
Christians, if you died, and had found yourself reborn, or standing infront of Allah, or boogie-dancing with James Brown, what would you do?
Anyone else want to take a stab at that idea?

Well, if anyone wants, you can also be jello-pudding wrestling with Nicole Richie.

And all of you, stop thinking that I'm an Atheist because I'm asking this question! It doesn't matter what I am.
Play along with the plot!

It's rare to find such a question in this forum. Thank you.
People whose beliefs are so static that they cannot conceive of even examining them, much less questioning them, take exactly the risk you describe.
If one believes in the existence of God, then one must acknowledge that the human brain must be meant for more than a sheep's. It is meant for thinking. Jesus used sheep as a metaphor because he was speaking to shepherds, and to people who would understand that he spoke in metaphors and parables. He didn't mean we should actually BE sheep.

If I died and found myself reborn, how would I know that I was before????
If I found myself standing in front of Allah, I would be in the same place that I am expecting to be. According to the Koran, Allah and the God of the Bible are the same.
If I was boogie-dancing with James Brown, I'd first be amazed because I can't dance, then I would would say "I feel good, like I knew I would!!"
But really, if I am wrong and something else happens and I can remember my life,I'd just have to go with the flow because there is nothing else I could do.

Well...Allah = God...so I guess it would prove that Christians were right and Muslims weren't....James brown lives(he has an account on here...just answered a question I asked)
As far as being reborn...I didn't know I was reborn when I came into this life, so how would I know I was reborn the next time?
I guess since James Brown still lives, and I didn't know I would be reborn...and if I stood infront of God it would mean my beliefs were right...

Since most religions (not all, most) are based on works or whether or not you were a "good" person, then a true Christian will still be at home standing in front of Allah or dancing with James. But if I am TOTALLY off the mark and there is no afterlife, then at least my body will feed a few bugs and make them happy...

What may be wrong to one may not be wrong to another
What may be right to you may not be right to someone else
Everyone has a different journey through life
Everyone is unique
We all live with what we have created and with that some people take on the thoughts of others instead of opening their minds in search for their own truth : )
If we all thought the same what a boring world this would be

well i guess, to play along with your question, if i would be reborn i guess i can answer you that your right and im wrong, i just wonder if i would live again as me or some other things, thats freaky. honestly, my beliefs is my belief, your is yours, there's no standard on each and everyone's belief. If we try to see WHAT'S REALLY WRONG!!!! it is that we believe and yet practice the WRONG thing. Like that I BELIEVE THAT I AM A Gorgeous Man and yet im acting like a dog, hahahaha, thats the wrong thing.

You already said--I'd be reborn, or be in front of Allah, or boogie dance with James Brown. Are those my only choices?

IF your were right then I think I'd feel a little lost and confused because I lived my life for my religion.
But now get rid of the if and I don't have to worry. The lord has shed his light to me and shown me his truth.

I have thought about asking this question for a long time. But hey, you saved me the trouble. :)
I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am correct in my beliefs, but hypothetically, I am not, then I would be very disappointed.

God must be right. I accept what Krishna says and what the gaudiya diciplic succession says......going all the way back to 5,000 years ago.
That is a lot of testimony plus thousands of witnesses.
